Custom Acrylic Boxes

Our standard production MOQ is 100 pieces per design. It covers the tooling and print setup a custom box requires. Quantities cannot be combined across designs: 50 units of Design A plus 50 of Design B do not make one production MOQ. If you want to trial a hinged or lidded box first, order a paid sample so you can approve fit, closure, print, and finish before production.

The 100-piece MOQ applies per design and per size, because each variation needs its own cutting layout and, if printed, its own screen or print file. You cannot blend several under-minimum designs into one 100-piece order at the single-design price. Pick the strongest one or two designs to meet the minimum, or use paid samples to decide which artwork should enter production. UV printing remains the better route for variable artwork because it avoids a separate screen per design.

Per-unit cost drops in tiers as quantity rises because cutting setup, print preparation, and sampling spread across more pieces. The steepest drop is usually between the 100-piece production floor and a few hundred units. By several thousand pieces, material and labor dominate and the curve flattens. Because the setup work does not shrink with the quantity. Every custom box run requires cutting layout, print-file preparation, process setup, and inspection. Spreading that work across fewer than 100 pieces makes the production run a poor use of time and an expensive order for the buyer. The better test path is a paid production sample in 3–5 days, followed by the 100-piece production minimum after approval.

Sometimes — it depends on the calendar, so count backward with us. Production runs 15–20 days after sample approval, the sample takes 3–5 days, and international shipping adds transit on top; artwork must be final before the sample starts. An artwork-to-delivery window of two weeks is usually not realistic for a custom printed run, and we'll say so upfront rather than take an order we can't land. What helps: a simple standard-shape box, UV printing (no screens to make), and air freight. Note that we supply the boxes only — we don't fill or kit them with your products. Four common methods, each with a different look and cost. Silk-screen printing lays down bold, opaque solid colors and spot colors (including metallics) but needs one screen per color, so it suits single- or few-color logos in volume. UV printing prints full-color, photo-quality artwork directly onto acrylic with no screens, so it's ideal for multi-color logos, gradients, and low-volume variable artwork. Laser engraving cuts a permanent frosted-etch mark into the acrylic — no ink, catches the light, reads as premium. Etched (sandblast) marking gives a similar frosted effect over larger areas. Yes, with a caveat worth knowing upfront. True metallic gold and silver are produced most reliably by silk-screen printing with metallic inks or by a foil/hot-stamp application — a flat digital UV print can approximate a gold tone but does not carry the same reflective shine. So a genuine mirror-metallic logo usually means silk-screen or foil, which adds a per-color screen or a stamping die to the setup. If a printed gold that reads well at arm's length is enough, UV print costs less. Tell us how premium the metallic needs to look and we'll match the method to the effect.

Yes — nothing goes into production on a verbal description. You get a dimensioned drawing or mockup confirming box size, thickness, hinge or lid construction, and the print layout with your artwork placed exactly as it will sit on the panel, full-color included. After your sign-off we build the physical sample, and we send photos — or video for moving parts like hinges — before bulk production begins. What you approve is what we produce: the approved drawing and sample are the reference every unit is inspected against.

Yes. Beyond the acrylic box itself, we produce a printed outer carton or gift box — a branded cardboard or rigid box that the acrylic box ships inside — so the product arrives retail-ready or gift-ready. This is packaging around the acrylic box, quoted separately from the box, and it's a common add-on for retail and D2C buyers. Note we do not make food-service or dessert packaging. A repeat order skips the setup you already paid for — your cutting files, screens, and approved sample stay on record — but the per-unit price can still move. Acrylic sheet cost, labor, freight, packaging materials, and exchange rates all shift between orders, and any spec change (size, thickness, print, quantity tier) is a new calculation. Before invoicing a reorder we confirm four things: that the previous spec is unchanged, the quantity, the destination, and your payment method — then we send the invoice. If the price moved, the quote shows exactly which line moved it.
