Custom POP and POS acrylic displays for retail — countertop, floor-standing, and branded formats

Custom Point of Purchase (POP/POS) Acrylic Displays

Most purchase decisions happen in-store — and your display has seconds, not minutes, to close the deal.

A POP display (point of purchase display) is a custom-built retail fixture designed to showcase products, trigger impulse purchases, and reinforce brand identity at the point where buying decisions happen — from checkout counters to aisle endcaps. Wetop Acrylic manufactures custom acrylic point of sale (POS) and point of purchase (POP) displays — also called plexiglass or PMMA display stands — for brands, retailers, and merchandising companies worldwide.

Why Retail Brands Need Custom POP Displays

A point of purchase display is a branded fixture built for one product line and placed where the buying decision happens — the register counter, an aisle endcap, a gondola shelf edge. Wetop is a point of purchase display manufacturer supplying direct from our own Shenzhen factory: 100 pieces minimum per design, 15–20 days production, rollouts from 100 to 1,000+ units. CBD and supplement brands run the same play as any other CPG line — branded CBD display boxes and counter POP units placed inside retail partners they don't own — while the fixed, locked fixtures inside a licensed dispensary are a separate buildout.

Impulse Window Is Seconds

Checkout displays have 30 seconds to grab attention. A product buried on a flat counter doesn't register. Visibility at eye level is everything.

Seasonal Turnover Is Constant

POP displays change with every campaign, season, and product launch. You need fixtures that can be produced fast and refreshed without replacing entire store fixtures.

Brand Consistency Across Locations

A display that looks different in each store undermines the brand. Multi-location rollouts need identical units — same dimensions, same print, same finish.

Acrylic POS Products We Build

An acrylic point of sale display program is assembled from a small set of repeating components: counter display units at the register, floor-standing units for aisles and endcaps, shelf strips and shelf-edge sign holders along the gondola run, header signs and showcards for campaign messaging, leaflet holders for take-away literature, and cases for high-value stock. The six categories below cover what we build most — each links to its full product page with specs and pricing factors.

Three Retail Display Scenarios

Checkout Impulse Displays

Checkout impulse acrylic displays at retail register

The 3-foot radius around a register is the highest-converting real estate in any store. Checkout impulse displays hold small, grab-and-go items — candy, lip balm, phone accessories, travel-size products — at eye level while customers wait.

We build them with integrated price card holders and optional brand printing directly on the acrylic surface. A US convenience chain ordered 200 identical countertop display stands for their checkout areas — same dimensions, same branding, shipped in batches across 3 months to match their store renovation schedule.

Endcap & Aisle Displays

Endcap and aisle acrylic floor displays for retail

Endcaps — the shelving units at the end of store aisles — are prime promotional real estate. Floor-standing acrylic displays and tiered risers turn endcap positions into branded product showcases that stand out from standard metal shelving. For wall-bay and slatwall merchandising, we also build custom acrylic shelves in matching finishes.

LED edge-lighting is a common add-on for premium brand launches. These units are designed for heavier product loads and built for structural stability over months of continuous use.

Branded Countertop Systems

For brands running their own merchandising programs inside retail partners' stores, a branded countertop display system is the standard play. These are custom POP display units with the brand's logo, colors, and product-specific compartments built directly into the acrylic structure.

A European cosmetics brand uses our custom acrylic organizers as branded countertop units across 60+ retail partners — each unit identical, each shipped flat-pack for easy in-store assembly. We produce using UV printing for full-color graphics, silk-screen printing for single-color logos, and hot stamping for metallic finishes.

Working Directly With a Point of Purchase Display Manufacturer

Buyers usually search for plastic POS display manufacturing, and the plastic they mean is acrylic — PMMA, sold in sheet form as plexiglass. It is what retail display programs specify because it keeps optical clarity under store lighting, takes a polished edge, and bonds into structures rigid enough to hold product for months on a shop floor. Working with the factory that actually cuts it removes the trading-company markup and the second set of emails between you and the shop floor.

Every process for a custom plastic POS display runs inside our 5,000 m² Shenzhen plant: laser and CNC cutting for panels, slots, and shelf-edge profiles; thermoforming and line bending for curved fronts and folded bases; diamond and flame polishing on visible edges; solvent bonding for assembly; then UV printing, silk-screen printing, hot stamping, and laser engraving for brand graphics. Because the printing lines sit next to the cutting lines, artwork is quoted and controlled with the unit instead of being handed to an outside printer.

The route from drawing to production is short. Send a CAD file, a dimensioned sketch, or photos of a display you want matched, and we reply within 24 hours with a quote and any engineering questions about load, thickness, and how the unit attaches. A paid sample is built in 3–5 days; once you sign it off, that sample becomes the physical reference for the run. Production takes 15–20 days with 100% inspection against the approved sample, and multi-store programs ship in batches timed to your rollout waves.

Payment. 30% deposit before production, 70% balance before shipment, by T/T, PayPal, or Western Union. Duties and freight. Quotes are FOB Shenzhen by default; ask and we reissue the same specification as DDP, so customs clearance, duties, and delivery sit inside one landed cost. Drawings. You don't need finished CAD to start — send what you have and we produce the engineering drawing, then return it with the quote for your sign-off. More detail on how we build and how we inspect.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a POP display and a POS display?

A POP (point of purchase) display is placed anywhere in a store to attract attention — endcaps, aisles, or countertops. A POS (point of sale) display sits near the register to trigger impulse buys during checkout. Both are custom-built from acrylic in our Shenzhen facility with a 100-piece MOQ.

How do I choose between a countertop and a floor-standing display?

Countertop displays work best for small, lightweight items near registers or service counters — cosmetics, snacks, accessories. Floor-standing displays suit larger or heavier products in aisles and lobbies. We build both types from 3mm to 20mm acrylic and can design hybrid units that combine both formats.

Can you build branded displays with LED lighting?

Yes. We offer silk-screen printing, UV printing, hot stamping, and laser engraving for brand logos and graphics. LED options include edge-lit panels, backlit logos, and strip lighting integrated directly into the acrylic frame. Branded LED displays typically require a 100-piece MOQ.

What is the turnaround time for seasonal or promotional displays?

Paid samples ship in 3–5 days. Production runs of 100–500 pieces take 15–20 days. For urgent seasonal promotions, contact us with your deadline and we'll confirm feasibility within 24 hours.

Do you offer standardized display programs for retail chains?

Yes. For multi-location rollouts, we produce identical units at scale — same dimensions, same branding, same finish across hundreds or thousands of pieces. We've supplied standardized display programs for large retailers and can ship in batches to match your store rollout schedule. The same program works when the buyer is a brand rather than a chain — CBD, supplement, and personal care brands order one approved counter unit or display box and we produce it for every retail partner on their placement list. If you also need locked, fixed fixtures for a licensed dispensary, those are specced differently and covered on our cannabis and dispensary display page.

How do we approve designs for 50+ store locations before going into production?

Approval workflow: (1) You send sample design, (2) We quote and produce a physical sample (3–5 days), (3) You approve or request revisions, (4) Once approved, we produce for your full store count. For multi-location rollouts, we can also provide digital proofs/renderings before sample if you want to align with your VMO team first. Bulk production from an approved sample ensures every location gets identical displays.

Is printed artwork included in a POS display quote?

It should be, and our quotes state it explicitly. We line-item the acrylic fabrication, the printing (naming which panels are printed — front, backboard, header), packaging, and freight, so you can compare quotes on the same basis. Printing runs in-house on our UV and silk-screen lines, so artwork is quoted with the unit rather than passed to a third-party printer. Send your artwork files, or just tell us which surfaces carry graphics, and the quote will show it.

What details do you need to quote a POS display that holds a product plus leaflets?

Five things: the product's dimensions and weight, the leaflet size (DL, A5, or A4), how the display attaches or sits (countertop, shelf-fix, or freestanding), any acrylic thickness preference, and your quantity. Product weight and attachment method drive the engineering — a display carrying a heavy demo product on a shelf edge quotes differently from the same footprint holding leaflets alone. We confirm the load on a physical sample before bulk production.

Can acrylic POS counter displays include cable management for powered products?

Yes. For displays holding powered demo products — keyboards, phones, personal care devices — we build in cable exits, routed channels, and back-panel cutouts so cords route out of the customer's sightline. To quote one, we need the product dimensions and weight, where the cable exits the device, and the path to power on your counter. Cable routing is then verified on the sample with your actual product before the run starts.

Can I get budget pricing before final display dimensions are locked?

Yes. We quote assumption-based estimates at quantity tiers — for example 100, 500, and 1,000 units — with the assumptions listed, so your budget approval can move before the design is final. The quote states what can shift with final dimensions, material thickness, and print coverage. Photos of the concept plus rough dimensions are enough to start.

Can you quote DDP so I see the full landed cost?

Yes. Quotes are FOB Shenzhen by default, and we can reissue the same specification as DDP — freight, customs clearance, duties, and delivery folded into one landed cost per unit. Most US and EU buyers ask for both and compare, since FOB is easier to benchmark against other quotes while DDP is what finance actually needs to approve. Payment terms don't change with the incoterm: 30% deposit before production, 70% balance before shipment, by T/T, PayPal, or Western Union.

Do you manufacture custom plastic POS displays, or only stock units?

Custom only — there is no stock SKU at Wetop. Every plastic (acrylic/PMMA) POS display is manufactured to your drawing or your reference sample, in the thickness, color, finish, and print you specify, at 100 pieces per design. If you're working from a unit you've seen in another market, send photos and rough dimensions and we'll draw it, quote it, and build a sample in 3–5 days for you to check before the 15–20 day production run.
